literary managementJoaquin Perles - Born in Cadiz, he grew up in El Puerto de Santa María (Spain).

He is the baby brother of four, from a family of a wide variety of backgrounds, none of them artistic. He is an Aries.

From the very early years, he felt compelled to read and perform. Books appealed to him and relationship with an audience intrigued and fascinated him. Thus, he studied Law for three years, and finally, got a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature.

Simultaneously with studying at University, he trained as an actor, also assisting with workshops for professional actors in Granada, Seville, Madrid, Cadiz. He now enjoys working with various theatre groups both as an actor and a director. Acting took him to Madrid, where he graduated in Acting at The International Actor School "Juan Carlos Corazza". He also divides his time between parts in TV and movies, and "La Puntilla Theatre", a theatre company he founded with three other likeminded spirits, and which he functions as an actor and a director. This company enjoyed a successful National Tour during 2003-04.

After this production concluded, he successfully auditioned for a leading role with the Andalucian National Theatre (CAT) in a play called "The seven deadly sins" which toured for one year.

When the tour of the CAT finished, he still had the desire of Acting in different languages and countries in order to continue opening new horizons. Joaquin choose to stay in Argentina for a period, which is a recognized world center for Acting and Theatre. After successfully establishing professional links with different professionals of this country, he traveled to the USA. Here, he has the opportunity to work closely with top professionals from different fields of the Film Industry at TVI Actors Studio, and starts to work in a regular basis with the well known acting coach 'Bernard Hiller'.

Since his arrival in Los Angeles, agents, producers and casting directors in Hollywood have shown interest for him after he began to work and audition in Film, Theater and TV. Since 2005, he is officially based in Los Angeles and is currently one of the clients of AEI and Ridini Entertainment. His latest works were in the feature “Hitting the Bricks” (dir. Brian T. Jaynes, 2007), and “Criminal Minds” (CBS, 2008).

Now, founder of Perles Entertainment, group of companies dedicated to Entertainment field with an International presence, spends time in Spain, Argentina and U.S.A.
