ASSOCIATE MANAGERS
|
|
You can contact
AEI directly or, if there’s an Associate Manager, near you,
by way of one of our Associate Managers. They serve as screeners,
recommenders, and advocates of incoming projects and can facilitate
your progress through the AEI system.
FAQ about Associate Managers:
Q. What does an Associate Manager do?
A. An Associate Manager is an active node in AEI’s worldwide story-seeking
web - helping us find true stories, nonfiction projects that would
make good stories and/or books, nonfiction books, corporate speakers
and providers, novels, screenplays, teleplays, and treatments.
Q. Who can serve as an Associate Manager?
A. Anyone interested in the world of commercial storytelling marketplace,
who is an avid networker and regularly encounters artists and storytellers
with potential for that marketplace. Current AEI Associate Managers
are actors, attorneys, editors, producers, publicists, real estate
agents, students, teachers, professors, agents, writers, and entrepreneurs
interested in the arts.
Q. How are Associate Managers compensated?
A. Associate Managers are compensated purely on percentage commissions
based on income deriving from their referrals. The exact percentage
varies depending on whether the Associate Manager refers a project,
recommends it, or becomes actively involved in its journey to the
page or screen.
Q. What is the advantage of going through an Associate Manager
to reach AEI?
A. The Associate Manager’s enthusiasm for your project can turn
into active advocacy and liaison with the company. Since AEI has
numerous clients with income-producing properties to attend to,
an Associate Manager on your side can keep your project front-burnered.
If you’re not certain that your project is quite ready for representation,
the Associate Manager’s advice can keep you from turning off AEI
by prematurely submitting material “not ready for prime time.” |
