Noire and 50 Cents' G-Unit

New York City-born & bred Noire, the provocative #1 Essence Bestselling author of the highly talked about urban erotic tales G-Spot and Candy Licker, has inked a deal with 50 Cent's G-Unit Books and Pocket Books (editor Lauren McKenna). Bestseller lists Noire's books have appeared on include Karibu Books, Black Expressions, and Borders Best of 2005 African American Fiction List.

According to her literary manager and producer Ken Atchity, of Atchity Entertainment International (www.aeionline.com), NOIRE'S G-Unit title, Baby Brother, deals with crime, loyalty, and retribution on the streets of New York. Other launch authors include K. Eliot and Nikki Turner.

NOIRE'S third sizzling novel, Thug-a Licious, is scheduled to be released by Random House in late August, with nationwide promotional plans including an innovative music tie-in on the new Noire urban music label with New York-based hip hop music artist REEM RAW.

In a major deal brokered by AEI, Simon & Schuster's Atria Books (editor Emily Bestler) has recently acquired the rights to publish Thong on Fire, NOIRE'S fourth urban erotic tale, which is expected to be released in March 2007. Thong on Fire will also incorporate music themes and be widely marketed to urban music fans.

In addition to pursuing the Noire television and film franchise, AEI is also supervising Noire's licensing & merchandising, with the first deals to be announced shortly in the areas of Naughty Noire Nightwear, "little Noire books," Noire's Urban Erotic greeting cards, and Noire's Naughty Toys. "Like the heat of night, Noire's going to raise the temperature everywhere," says AEI President Chi-Li Wong (producer of CBS' "The Madam's Family" and Fox's "Joe Somebody" and "Life or Something Like It").

"I sell out of Noire's books everyday," says a street vendor in NYC. "Her stories are original and they're hot. She's definitely the Queen of Urban Erotica, and that comes straight from the reader's mouths."
